Paul Graham, founder of Y Combinator Management. Which has been used to launch more than 4,000 companies.

The insights in his article have enchanted my mind, making it an exceptionally enjoyable read.

Here are my notes;

Most people who want to do great
work, the right strategy for them is not to plan too much.

At each stage do whatever seems most interesting. It gives you the best options for the future. This is how most people who have done great work seem to have done it.

Try to finish what you start, though,
even if it turns out to be more work
than you expected.

Finishing things is not just an exercise in tiredness or self- discipline. In many projects a lot of best work happens in what was meant to be the final stage.

Try lots of things, meet lots of
people, read lots of books, ask lots of
questions.

These were my notes from the article on “How To To Great Work” by Paul Graham.

That’s it for today.
